The mobile title Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp has been offering enthusiasts of the license the opportunity to pitch their tent in a campsite since 2017. It contains the key ingredients that made the success of the main games, ranging from furniture crafting, landscaping, exploration, fishing and insect capture. The latest addition is the AR camera that comes with AR Cabin mode which now brings the characters of the game to life.
Through the AR Camera, players can now select a real-world location and stage the characters and their furniture on the set to capture the moment. At the same time, Nintendo is offering newcomers and regulars alike the benefit of one month’s free subscription to the Furniture & Fashion Plan, normally priced at $7.99 (£7.99 / €8.99) a month. Note that at the end of the trial period, the subscription will charge you $7.99 (£7.99 / €8.99) a month again, unless you cancel it. Each month, players can eat five lucky cakes of their choice to obtain exclusive furniture and clothing. The subscription also provides additional storage space for items.
