After Henry Cavill for the role of Geralt, Netflix has today formalized the names of actresses who will take the roles of Yennefer and Ciri.
Thus, Yennefer Vengerberg will be brought to our screens by Freya Allan, who you may have seen in The War of Worlds or BlueBird. For her part, the princess of Cintra, Ciri will be played by Anya Chalotra, whose performances were noticed by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, showrunner of the series, in Wanderlust and The ABC Murders.

If you do not know the characters, know that Ciri is the adopted daughter of Geralt, who holds an ancient power and happens to be the princess of a strategic kingdom. Her abilities make her the center of the intrigue of novels, and give her a preponderant place in The Witcher 3. For her part, Yennerfer is a powerful magician and the main love interest of Geralt, at least in the works of Andrzej Sapkowski.
