Tim Stuart, Chief Financial Officer of Xbox, spoke on the issue of the Xbox Series X and S limited stock issues. He believes that it will not be until the April-June 2021 quarter that the new Microsoft consoles will be fully available.
If some resellers are still putting some consoles back on sale, the Xbox Series X and S are out of stock in most areas. Microsoft expects this situation to last at least until next April.
“When we get to Q4, all of our supply chain [is] continuing to go full speed heading into kind of the pre-summer months,” Stuart said. (Microsoft’s fiscal Q4 takes place from April through June.) “And that’s where I start to — I expect to see a little bit of the demand — the supply profile, meeting the demand profile.”
