First announced for 2020, the remastered version of SaGa Frontier finally arrives in just over a month, accompanied by additional new content. Pre-orders are now open on Steam, the PS Store and the eShop.
Released in 1997 in Japan where it sold over a million copies, SaGa Frontier is the seventh episode in the saga of…SaGa. 24 years later, it returns under the name SaGa Frontier Remastered. This version will obviously have improved graphics, but also additional cinematics to enrich its scenarios. “Scenarios”, because the game will allow us to take control of different characters, each with their own storyline. A new character, Fuse, will also be in the game. Like the remasters of Final Fantasy, Square Enix’s game will also have new features, in particular the “double speed” mode which will allow the gameplay to gain in dynamism and fluidity.
SaGa Frontier is expected on April 15, 2021 on PC, Switch, PS4, iOS and Android.
