Dengeki Bunko: Crossing Void, or just Crossing Void, available on the Google PlayStore, is a 2D fighting game in which you play the role of some of the most famous characters of one of the most beloved editors, Dengeki Bunki – a Japanese publishing house for manga novels who has already published nearly 20 different genres.
Crossing Void uses a turn-based system for its combat. Towards the bottom of your screen are a set of buttons with distinct attack styles and special attack abilities that your protagonists can use. Once you have acted, it is your enemy’s turn to answer. The group that is the first to eliminate every single one of their opponents is the winner of this conflict.
In Dengeki Bunko: Crossing Void, there are more than 40 unique characters to bring back to life, all belonging to Dengeki Bunko’s universe of fictional mangas and novels. Every character has their own animations, special attacking talents and story. That said, you will need to unlock each of these characters as you go. Sword Art Online, Shakugan no Shana, Accel World and Toaru Majutsu no Index are but a few of the series from which you can get characters.
As with every Gacha game released, the main worry of Crossing Void players is how to obtain the highest rarity characters and add them to their teams. Here, you will want to aim for A and S tier characters, these helping you most when you will reach the endgame. To pull characters, you will have to obtain Gacha vouchers. With a lot of ways to earn these vouchers, including through completing the Main Story stages, you will have various occasions to summon characters. Alternatively, you can also trade your Maigo at the premium store for more Gacha vouchers (Main Menu->select ‘Maigo’->Event Pack->Gacha Voucher Pack). I personally recommend keeping your Gacha vouchers until you have at least 50 of them to use the x10 Rate Up Gacha. Doing so will greatly increase your chances of obtaining characters of the A or S tier. For those of you wishing to spend money, I’d suggest using it to purchase Maigo, then going to ‘Your Mr. Mrs. Right’. This is where you can select your favorite A-S tier character which you will automatically obtain once you use the Gacha 10 times. You can also purchase the ‘Newbie Pack’ from the Store to obtain 2 A tier characters + 200 Paid Maigo.
